Megaworld, JLL forge strategic partnership

MANILA, Philippines — Property giant Megaworld Corp. has forged a strategic alliance with global real estate services firm JLL to further reinforce its position in the real estate industry.
Megaworld said the partnership allows JLL to provide the company with strategic advisory services on the latest international real estate standards covering research, consulting and project development.
The services, it said, extend to areas such as office reinvention, reinvigoration and reimagination, innovations, project and building management, new property technology solutions, property assessment, certifications as well as building safety, security and resilience in accordance to global standards.
“JLL has been a trusted partner for so many years and we are excited to embark on this new chapter together,” Megaworld president Lourdes Gutierrez-Alfonso said.
“With JLL’s in-depth local and international real estate expertise, we can continue shaping an exciting future for Philippine real estate. We are exploring new opportunities to introduce innovative ideas and solutions across our developments,” she said.
JLL is a Fortune 200 company with operations in more than 80 countries worldwide.
It is regarded as a leading global commercial real estate and investment management company with knowledge of real estate markets in the Asia-Pacific region.
The company has helped various clients buy, build, occupy, manage and invest in various commercial, industrial, hotel, residential and retail properties.

This year, Megaworld is expanding its portfolio of integrated developments outside Metro Manila with at least two more townships planned for launch.
The company poised to develop these new townships covering more than 300 hectares of land in key growth areas in Luzon and Visayas.
